Health Services at Mount Mercy supports the physical and psychological needs of students, faculty and staff on campus. A registered nurse is available to students, faculty, and staff to help with specific health needs and to assist in maintaining and improving your overall well-being.

Emergency care is provided by Health Services during regular hours.

First aid kits are maintained in all residence halls and other various locations. Please ask your resident assistant (RA) for assistance or call Public Safety at 319-363-1323, ext.1234.

Emergency Contacts, Immunizations, and Health Insurance

Incoming students are required to submit the following form(s). Your proof of immunization must be on file with Health Services prior to the first semester's first day of class. Failure to provide this information will result in cancellation of your registration.

Medical Exemption: Your physical condition is such that immunization would endanger life or health, or is medically contraindicated due to other medical conditions.

Religious Exemption: Certify your conscience or religious objection to immunizations. Must be notarized.
