Anne Hartman, Assistant Professor of Nursing, has been with the Mount Mercy nursing department since 2006, and full-time since 2012.  She teaches a freshman introduction to nursing course, junior level nursing interventions and senior level evidence based practice.  Hartman has lead students on international study abroad experiences in England and Tanzania.

Hartman’s clinical background includes experience in operating room nursing, pediatrics, hospice and general medical nursing. She has lead medical service trips to Central America and Nigeria, volunteered in a camp for Syrian refugees in Greece, and currently serves as a volunteer nursing consultant for a hospital in Tanzania.

In her spare time, Hartman enjoys spending time with her family and pets, traveling, volunteering and playing piano.
