RN-BSN (Accelerated)

The RN-BSN is an accelerated degree completion program for RNs with 3+ years of experience and who have a current and valid RN license.

An RN-BSN Program for Working Adults

Complete your degree in as little as 18-24 months! (based on program and transfer credit)

In accordance with the Iowa Articulation Plan for Nursing Education, RN to Baccalaureate, Mount Mercy offers this program tailored for working RNs with three years of experience to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN).

Upon completion of the application process, the RN-BSN advisor assists students in establishing the most appropriate program of study. The program is designed to include the granting of credit for past learning and consideration of the needs of adult learners.

Program objectives include:

  • Respect and value the dignity of human life
  • Appropriately implement selected nursing interventions
  • Integrate knowledge derived from liberal arts, science, and nursing in professional nursing practice

Start taking classes when it’s convenient for you—in-person or online.
