Health Care Leadership (Accelerated)

The health care leadership major is specifically designed for students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in an Allied Health profession.

There's no need to wait months to start taking classes. At Mount Mercy, we have nine start dates throughout the year, and class blocks are every five weeks.

Transfer Your Credits

  • Transfer up to 75 credits from an Iowa community college or up to 93 credits from a regionally accredited 4-year university

  • Students may transfer up to 60 credits from College Level Examination Program (CLEP) and 30 credits for your life experience using the Assessment of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) portfolio documentation

  • Veterans may also earn credit for military training via the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES)
