About Campus Ministry

In the company of your peers, you will become increasingly active in determining the commitments that will guide your life. You will immerse yourself in experiences that range from liturgical ministries and retreats to hands-on service work with those who live on the margins from Cedar Rapids to the Texas-Mexico border and beyond. Campus Ministry also works closely with a student group called the Peer Ministry Team.

As a community we contribute to the Mission of the University through purposeful and merciful living in the image of Jesus Christ, the man for others.  We nurture visions by which to walk and the energy by which to live. We cherish the Catholic intellectual tradition of innovative thinking, probing inquiry, and a passion for truth. We witness to authentic Catholic culture: it inclusiveness, its concern for justice and peace, and its keen awareness of the vestige of a loving Creator in the world around us.
