To fund priorities, Mount Mercy University encourages alumni and friends to consider outright gifts.
Outright Giving Opportunities
- Pledge an amount to be paid over a multiple-year period, using a payment schedule that is convenient for you.
- Send a gift by check.
- Give online or by phone (319-368-6468) with your VISA, MasterCard or Discover Card.
- Contribute appreciated stock or shares of mutual funds.
- Honor a loved one with a commemorative gift. Find out about legacy naming opportunities and engraved pavers on the Plaza and Walk outside of University Center.
Many employers will match gifts to higher education given by employees and spouses, even if they are retired. If you work for a participating company, you may double or even triple your gift by participating in the matching program.
Deferred contributions — including provisions in wills, trusts and life-income vehicles — always are considered a blessing to Mount Mercy. Planned gifts such as these help you to achieve both your personal financial and philanthropic goals. Our staff would be happy to discuss your charitable aspirations, and work with you to create a gift plan that provides for your family while also helping Mount Mercy students.
