Professor of Psychology Ron Feldt joined Mount Mercy’s Psychology Program in 1980. Previously he taught at the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wisconsin State University, a Master of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin--Oshkosh, and earned a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Feldt belongs to the Midwestern Psychological Association and the International Reading Association. His articles have appeared in numerous publications, including, College Student Journal, Contemporary Educational Psychology, Individual Differences Research, Measurement and Evaluation in Counseling and Development, Psychological Reports, and Reading Psychology. He has had several poster presentations at the annual Midwestern Psychological Association Meeting.
Feldt participates in community service projects through Mount Mercy’s Psychology Club, and enjoys biking and snow skiing.
Feldt is available to speak to the media on issues involving memory, college adjustment, personality, stress, and neuroscience of emotion.
