Mount Mercy College is a Catholic, coeducational college founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1928. The College offers a variety of liberal arts, professional, accelerated, and graduate degree programs. The picturesque campus is located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and enrolls approximately 1600 students.

The Department of Business invites applications for a full-time faculty position in business at the rank of Lecturer beginning Fall 2010. The selected candidate will teach a total of 24 credits in the adult evening accelerated program, Advance. A variety of course specialties will be considered including: Accounting, Statistics, Finance, Law, and Management. Other responsibilities include advising students, and engaging in service.

Successful candidates must have a Master’s degree and appropriate work experience in business. Previous college teaching experience is a plus. Successful candidates must also demonstrate a willingness to support Mount Mercy’s mission as a Catholic college providing student-focused education in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy.
