Financial Aid

Mount Mercy College understands that the cost of your education is an important factor when making the decision on which college you will attend. It is the goal of the Financial Aid Office to make it financially possible for all qualified students to attend Mount Mercy College. We encourage you to contact us directly with any questions you may have about the cost of attending Mount Mercy. View tuition, room and board costs for the current year here >>

Currently, 100 percent of our full-time freshmen receive some form of institutional financial aid from Mount Mercy. In addition, state and federal aid in the form of grants, work study and loans are available to students to help offset the cost of their education. We have outlined these programs on our Web site so you can have a clear picture of what is available to prospective students.

All students that have been admitted to a degree-seeking program at Mount Mercy should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) so state and federal aid eligibility can be determined. This form is available for completion after January 1 and should be submitted to the federal processor prior to Mount Mercy's March 1 deadline. Once the Financial Aid Office receives the FAFSA results, all admitted students receive a financial aid award. Each year the initial awards for new freshmen are sent starting March 15 and new transfer awards are sent starting April 1.
