Mount Mercy University is pleased to announce that Michelle Beisker has been appointed director of development. Beisker previously served as the chief operating officer at Waypoint, a humanitarian service organization for women, children, and families, in Cedar Rapids.

Mount Mercy University has named Nathan Stucky director of human resources. Stucky was previously employed as the human resources director for the City of Marshalltown in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Mount Mercy's Janalyn Hanson White Gallery will showcase the digital photographs of Assistant Professor of Art Jose Clemente during a special exhibit titled "Digital Color and Texture." The exhibit runs September 7 – October 7, Monday – Friday, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Mount Mercy University has appointed Michael Lown as admissions representative for advance and graduate programs. Lown was previously an admissions representative at ITT Technical Institute. He holds two bachelor’s degrees from The University of Iowa.

Mount Mercy University has named Robert B. Callahan vice president for enrollment management, effective August 9. Callahan will spearhead the newly created division of enrollment management, providing vision and leadership for the departments of admissions, athletics, communications and marketing, and financial aid.

When Mount Mercy's Psychology Club members were looking for a service project this spring, they came upon a unique request: fleece tie blankets. The inspiration came from The University of Iowa Hospitals, which needed soft and colorful blankets for some of their younger patients, as well as for elderly psychiatric patients.
