Mount Mercy students in the J-Term course Oral Interpretation gave theatrical performances ranging from humorous to philosophical during their final presentation on January 25. Performances included storytelling, prose, literary program, and readers' theatre.

Mount Mercy University hosted a celebration ceremony in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on Monday, January 16. In his welcoming address, President Christopher Blake said it was not a coincidence this special event was being held at an institute of higher education, noting that King was an educated man, inspiring him to lead a movement for equal rights that would change the world.
