Mount Mercy University is pleased to announce a new scholarship for transfer students who are members of the international honor society Kappa Beta Delta, an honor society for students enrolled at schools accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Mustang softball program will host the Third Annual Mount Mercy Fall Classic on Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 10-11, at Napoleon Park in Iowa City. The youth softball tournament is divided into 10-under, 12-under and 14-under age groups. Full story >

Two Mount Mercy University students are gearing up to spend their summers doing missionary work in Africa. Dia Brown, a junior nursing major from Urbandale, Iowa, will travel to Sierra Leone and work with a team at Jonathan House Ministries, a house for orphans. Elizabeth Brumm, a senior English major from Cedar Falls, Iowa, will travel to the small village of Dafor, Ghana as she joins forces with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS).

MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa -- Mount Mercy scoring leaders Anna Kallqvist and Laura Wilberg garnered honorable mention all-conference honors when the league announced its 2010-11 Midwest Collegiate Conference Women's Golf awards, based on a vote of MCC coaches. Full story >

MOUNT PLEASANT, Iowa -- Derek McConnell made quite the debut for Mount Mercy last season. After leading the Mustangs in scoring, the junior from Belleville, Ontario, was named to the 2010-11 Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Golf first team by a vote of league coaches. Full story >
