Mount Mercy University Associate Professor of Business and Department Chair Bob Walker, Ph.D., recently returned from Punta Gorda, Belize, to lay the groundwork for a new international MBA course set to launch January 2013, International Business Strategy and Culture.

Undergraduate and graduate students in the education class “Education Travel Abroad” recently returned from a spring break trip to Canterbury, England, where they had the opportunity to collaborate with students at Canterbury Christ Church University and participate in the Primary Education International Student Conference, “Bringing the World into the Classroom.”

Mount Mercy University's Winter Term (J-Term) course "British Literature and Culture" will journey to England January 12 – 21 during a unique study abroad trip to absorb more fully the major works of British literature while also experiencing the art, history and cityscapes that produced them.

Mount Mercy University is offering several courses over J-Term 2011 that encompasses trips overseas, including the business course "European Union: Culture Politics, and Economics" and the social work course "Social Welfare: Worldview."
