HASTINGS, Neb. -- Mount Mercy continued to play the way it had for the past six weeks when the team was undefeated in 10 starts, but against the defending national champion, it just wasn't enough as top-seeded Hastings (Neb.) knocked the Mustangs out of the NAIA Men's Soccer National Championships on Saturday at Lloyd Wilson Field. HASTINGS, Neb. -- The opening round of the 2011 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship takes place tomorrow with 15 matches on campus sites throughout the country. CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Four shots in 10 minutes is pretty good. Four shots on goal in 10 minutes is even better. But four goals in 10 minutes? Nearly unheard of. But Mount Mercy did it today, coming back from a 3-0 deficit to defeat Ashford, 4-3, in the championship game of the 2011 Midwest Collegiate Conference Men's Soccer Tournament at Lower Kingston Field.
