Winner of the T.S. Eliot Prize, poet Michael Sowder writes about wilderness, fatherhood, Buddhism, and spirituality. His new collection of poetry, House Under the Moon, explores the challenge of living a contemplative life in a contemporary world.
UPDATE: Michael Sowder arrived in Cedar Rapids yesterday and will hold a Q&A session as scheduled at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, in the UC Commons. Feel free to stop by and visit with Mr. Sowder if you live on campus! The evening reading for tonight remains canceled.
