Christenson contributes to Tanager Place initiative for children

Mount Mercy University’s Clinical Director for the Marriage and Family Therapy program Jacob Christenson, Ph.D., will help serve on a new endeavor launched by Tanager Place which focuses on continuing childcare services and impacting policy nationwide.

Christenson will provide clinical expertise related to the field of family therapy for a newly developed initiative at Tanager Place that seeks to have far-reaching impact on children and their families in Eastern Iowa and across the nation.

The new initiative, which will for formally unveiled during a press conference on Tuesday, September 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Tanager Place’s Variety Club Center, will unite key stakeholders through a new partnership that will better impact childcare services nationwide.

“I look forward to serving in this capacity and the opportunities that it will bring in the state and community,” says Christenson.
