Earth Week activities, speakers lined up at Mount Mercy

Mount Mercy University will celebrate Earth Week in a spirit dedicated to sustainability and environmentalism – observing the April 22 holiday with a variety of activities throughout the month.

In addition to participating in the annual RecycleMania competition, special guest speakers and performances will also take place during the month of April as the campus continues to celebrate its mission of fostering environmentally-conscious students, faculty and staff.

Alongside events and activities open to the public, the Mount Mercy community will also participate in campus beautification service projects and spring cleaning, partnering with Mount Mercy’s newest taskforce, PROUD, to “adopt” areas of campus for cultivation and upkeep.

Earth Week events calendar includes: All events are free and open to the public, seating is limited
