Mercy Mission and Identity

Printer-friendly version

Mount Mercy is an ecumenically sensitive Catholic university, where students’ spiritual development is considered a core experience, where religious diversity is welcome, and where the Catholic intellectual tradition and the inspiration of the Sisters of Mercy are discernible and resonant. We express our committment to these principles through our spiritual life, curricular and co-curricular programming, and service to the community.

The Office of Mercy Mission and Identity is responsible for developing:

  • A robust campus ministry
  • Contemporary Catholic sacramental and liturgical life
  • Opportunities for inter-denominational worship
  • Clear dedication to the principles of service learning
  • Opportunities for the campus community to connect with the values of the Sisters of Mercy
