Accelerated Format – Courses are offered 1 night per week or 1 Saturday morning per week for 10 week block or 2 nights a week or 8 hours on Saturday for a 5 week block. This innovative format allows you to focus on 1 class at a time instead of juggling coursework of 2, 3, or even 4 classes typical of a traditional college course format.
Evening & Weekend Class Schedule - Monday through Friday nights from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM or Saturday mornings from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. These class times will allow students to maintain a job, family, and still pursue their degree.
Classroom Instruction – Get instruction in person, with professors face to face, interacting with fellow students. Classroom instruction provides a great opportunity for networking, professional engagement, and active learning.

Financial Aid – Financial Aid counseling is available for all students. Mount Mercy University federal school code is 001880. A new FAFSA must be completed each academic year www.fafsa.ed.gov. For financial aid purposes, the academic year starts in the FALL semester (usually late August) and ends in the SUMMER semester (usually early August). For example, students who wish to apply for aid for SUMMER 2013 must complete a 2012-2013 FASFA, then a 2013-2014 FAFSA for FALL 2013 and SPRING 2014. Tuition – Tuition is currently $545 per credit hour.
Tuition Reimbursement – Mount Mercy University accepts tuition reimbursement from employers who offer that benefit. We allow students that receive tuition reimbursement up to 45 days after the completion of the course to pay the course tuition.
How to Apply – In order to apply to the program you must go to this link and complete the online application. Once you have created a profile and submitted your transcripts, resume, 2 letters of recommendation (links available to forward online) and other relevant paperwork you will be contacted for an Academic Advising appointment by the Program Director.
Once you've been accepted to the program, we'll help you schedule an appointment with your personal academic advisor. Together you'll discuss your plans, review your transfer coursework and decide upon your schedule of classes.
