If you're driving to campus, you'll need to register your vehicle and display a current Mount Mercy parking sticker. Your sticker is valid from September 1 to August 31 for the academic year you're registered. Parking stickers are available through the University Center Information Desk. They’re open from 8 a.m. until midnight, Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. until midnight on Saturday; and 11 a.m. until midnight on Sunday.
As a commuting student, you may park in the following areas at any time:
- Prairie Drive Lot in spaces not designated for Faculty/Staff or reserved for Hennessey Vans
- The 27th Street Lot
- Lower Andreas Lot
Additionally, from 5 p.m. until midnight on weekdays and all day on weekends you may also use the following areas:
- Faculty/Staff spaces in the Prarie Drive Lot
- Faculty/Staff spaces in front of Warde Hall (this does not include the spot marked "President" or "Visitor")
- Behind McAuley Hall
- Lot near Busse Center
- Eastern two rows of spaces in lot behind Warde Hall
If you are parking overnight, please use the Prarie Drive, Lower Andreas or the 27th Street lots.
Mount Mercy reserves the right to close a campus parking area for institutional purposes. Advanced notice will always be given to the community before an area is reserved by means of signs posted, voice mail and online
