MMC ICN Classroom

The ICN (Iowa Communications Network) Classroom at Mount Mercy College opened in September 1995. Two way audio and video interactive connectivity contribute to efficient and effective communication for educational institutions, businesses, non profit organizations, and others.

Meetings and classes are scheduled through Iowa Public Television with prior approval by Mount Mercy College. The contact person at MMC is Connie Walther whose telephone is 319-363-8213 ext 1261.

Directions for Visitors

The campus is bounded by Elmhurst Drive NE, 27th Street NE and Prairie Drive NE, Cedar Rapids, IA. To reach campus if driving from the north, south or west, use Exit 22 off I-380, drive east on 29th St. NE, and turn right on Prairie Drive NE. If coming from the northeast on US 151 (First Avenue), turn right on 29th Street NE and turn left on Prairie Drive NE. It is two blocks to the campus from 29th Street NE. An alternate is 27th Street NE to Prairie Drive NE, turn right and it is one block to campus. The recommended parking lot is off Prairie Drive behind the Hennessey Recreation Center.

To reach the ICN classroom, go up the hill from this parking lot to Regina Hall. Go through the single door in the southeast corner of the Regina Hall lobby and down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, turn right. Go through door and continue to the end of the hall. The classroom in on the left just before the door leading to the Busse Center Library. There are signs along the way.
