Lecturer - Nursing

Mount Mercy University is a private, coeducational, Catholic institution with strong professional and liberal arts programs, located on a 40-acre hilltop in an attractive residential neighborhood.  The Nursing Department offers a large undergraduate major in Nursing and a Master’s of Science in Nursing.  The department is currently searching for a tenure track faculty member at the rank of lecturer or assistant professor to teach in the undergraduate program.

Candidates must hold a Master’s of Science in Nursing degree with a clinical specialty. A doctoral degree is preferred. Teaching at the baccalaureate level is desired as is at least two years of clinical experience. The successful candidate must also demonstrate a willingness to support Mount Mercy’s mission, which is a Catholic University providing student-focused baccalaureate and graduate education in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy.  Mount Mercy welcomes those of different faiths and is committed to excellence in education and community service.
