Mount Mercy is proud to be a part of the National Society of Leadership and Success, the nation’s largest leadership honor society.

» What is The National Society of Leadership and Success?

With 568 chapters, the Society currently has 731,707 members nationwide. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction.

In addition to honorable distinction, the Society provides a step-by-step program for members to build their leadership skills through participation at their campus or online. Upon completion of the program, members receive their leadership certificate and take their place among the top student leaders at their campus and across the country. Members are able to list their affiliation on all statements of personal accomplishment, including their resume.

Membership is for life and provides access to benefits including scholarships and awards, exclusive on-campus events, employer recruitment through an online job bank, and discounts on computers, textbooks, grad school prep courses, insurance, and much more.

The National Society of Leadership and Success was founded with the sole purpose of creating lasting positive change. Beginning with a handful of chapters, the Society now reaches hundreds of thousands of students at hundreds of chapters around the world. The Society encourages community action, volunteerism, personal growth and strong leadership from its chapters and members.

» Can I join The National Society of Leadership and Success?

Any undergraduate or graduate student can take part in The National Society of Leadership and Success as long as they have a 2.7 of higher GPA. Students will be invited to join the program at the beginning of each year if they meet the minimum GPA requirement.
