The Office of Development and Alumni Relations brings together the diverse efforts of a dedicated team of fundraising, marketing and communications professionals to advance Mount Mercy's institutional objectives. Our development staff is responsible for supporting the needs and priorities of the university through annual, major and planned giving programs. The marketing and communications team facilitates the flow of information about the University to all audiences, champions the Mount Mercy brand through integrated communication plans and is responsible for all external advertising and the website.

Duff serves as Vice President for Development at Mount Mercy University. He currently oversees the 11-member team in the Office of Alumni and Development Relations, campaign, development, alumni, annual fund and grant-writing operations. Specializing in team building and leadership fundraising, Duff received his BA from Wartburg College and is currently pursuing his MA in Philanthropy at the University of Northern Iowa.
