Mount Mercy University's Janalyn Hanson White Gallery will showcase the capstone projects of senior art students during a Senior Thesis Exhibit April 28 – May 24. The Paha Review, Mount Mercy’s annual magazine that features art, poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction—all by Mount Mercy students, is now available on stands throughout campus and online.

Students, faculty and staff participated in a campus-wide evacuation on Wednesday, April 17, as part of a mock emergency drill for disaster preparedness. Mount Mercy partnered with Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids Police Department, Cedar Rapids Fire Department, and EMT response crews to conduct the drill, which was planned months in advance. Mount Mercy University announced plans for a new graduate center during a ceremonial groundbreaking on Friday, November 2.
