The Film Studies minor offers an overview of film culture, major historical and critical trends in film studies, analysis of cinematic form and style, and the relationship between film and culture. As a Film Studies minor, you will learn how to evaluate film as a major art form of the 20th century and recognize the profound influence it has had on popular, intellectual, and artistic life.
