The annual Especially for You Race Against Breast Cancer was held on Sunday, October 7, 2012. This event, co-founded by Mercy Medical Center and General Mills, is held each year to increase awareness regarding the importance of early detection and screening for breast cancer. ALL PROCEEDS from the race are used locally to provide breast cancer screening and other support services for individuals in need.
