The field of communication focuses on how people communicate as individuals, in society, and in the workplace. The program at Mount Mercy is an outstanding interdisciplinary major that integrates classroom study with outside internships.

Communication students are encouraged to join the Communication club, FACE or the Mount Mercy Times. Both are great opportunities to gain invaluable experience while at Mount Mercy.

Complementary majors/minors include journalism, multimedia/design, public relations, business with a marketing emphasis, and English.
