Campus Master Plan

Mount Mercy University's Campus Master Plan provides the facilities and physical environment to meet the educational needs of the 21st century.

Current Focus Areas for Campus Development

We begin by focusing on the heart of "the Hill" with a new University Center, which bridges Regina and McAuley halls, and a central outdoor gathering space.

Future Focus Areas for Campus Development

Arts Complex and Gallery
Bringing Together the Arts Under One Roof
The renovated Lundy Commons will house studio arts, graphic design, communications, literature, journalism, creative writing, film studies and drama. Plus an expanded art gallery will provide greater visibility for student, faculty and guest art exhibits.

Theater Renovation
Providing a professional venue for new and ambitious productions
An improved stage, enhanced theater lighting, better acoustics and comfortable seating will transform the experiences of those attending and mounting theatrical performances. Guests will enjoy an expanded lobby and the convenience of three theater entrances.

Wellness & Sports Center
Helping students lead healthy, dynamic lives outside the classroom
The expanded center will support 15 intercollegiate athletic teams, accomodate better practice schedules, increase intramural and recreation programs, improve student interaction and assist in student recruitment and retention.
