The Department of Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, and International Studies is seeking applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in Clinical/Counseling psychology. The qualified applicant will hold a Ph.D. in psychology with expertise in clinical or counseling psychology and will be expected to supervise internships and teach the following classes: Theories of Personality, Abnormal Psychology, Introduction to Counseling, Introductory Psychology, and courses of personal interest. There may also be opportunity to teach graduate level courses in Marriage and Family Therapy. The successful candidate should already have experience teaching in a liberal arts college. While excellence as an educator is the top priority, the candidate will also be expected to engage undergraduates in the candidate's scholarly research activities. The candidate should be able to be a role model for professional practice. Therefore, experience in the practice of psychology is also a plus. Candidates are expected to teach seven classes a year, including one class in a January winter term.
