The Art Club is a well-established group of both art and non-art majors who share a common interest in art. “You don’t have to be an artist, you just have to love it!” The art club is based on the idea that you can never see enough good art. The club does what it can to bring art to  Mount Mercy. . . or to bring Mount Mercy to art.

This is done through sponsorship of visiting artists, trips to major art centers in the Midwest, teaching or sharing art in the community with underprivileged children, and other activities such as High School Art Day, Club Friday Art Action, the Senior Thesis Party, and a trip to the Chicago  Art Institute. Through these various activities, the Art Club provides a fun way to meet other students interested in art and expressing their own creativity.
