
Location and Collections
The college archives are located in Busse Library. The archives contains materials that document the history of Mount Mercy University and are divided into the following collections:

Documentation: minutes, reports and publications that chronicle the day to day operation of the university including those of academic departments, administrative offices, student organizations and auxillary services.

Images: photographs, slides, CDs, and composite class pictures dating back to the early days of Mount Mercy Academy, Mount Mercy Junior College, the Mercy School of Nursing, Mount Mercy College, and Mount Mercy University.

Scrapbooks: newspaper articles about people and events at Mount Mercy University, dating back to the 1950's.

Media: audio-visual-films, videos, DVDs, and recordings of university events.

Artifacts: clothing and ephemera that help tell Mount Mercy's story.
