Administrative Assistant

The University offers a variety of liberal arts, professional, accelerated and graduate degree programs on a picturesque campus overlooking the city.

This position is fulltime with responsibilities for the administrative operations of the adult undergraduate accelerated and online office, including the admission process of all undergraduate accelerated students and graduate students.  This position also serves as building liaison for staff, faculty and students. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides a courteous interface with all external and internal clients
  • Supports the admission of all undergraduate accelerated students and graduate students
  • Manages the student evaluation of faculty for all block courses
  • Orders and maintains office supplies for all building staff and faculty
  • Provides assistance for classroom technology and copy machines
  • Manages the admission communication workflow
  • Manages the schedules of the accelerated and online staff
  • Manages billing, reservations and general administrative support for non-credit programs
  • Conducts tours and provides orientation assistance for new accelerated and online students
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned

We are seeking candidates with administrative experience in higher education, and a minimum of an associate’s degree; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.  The position requires proficient use in Microsoft Office, and must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
