Academic Affairs is a large campus unit that focuses on bringing the Mount Mercy mission to life through a curriculum rich in high-interest majors, courses, and other learning experiences. Faculty members across the Univeristy are part of Academic Affairs, collaborating to create outstanding, student-oriented educational programs that emphasize growth in reflective judgment, strategic communication, purposeful living, and serving the common good. In addition, the Academic Affairs staff includes talented individuals working actively with students in such areas as: advising and registration, academic support, career services, library resources and instructional technology, honors and partnership programming, campus ministry, service learning, and the Mount Mercy Institute offering accelerated and special programs.

Since the scope of our work is so broad, students as well as faculty often have opportunities to visit our office for information or advice. We look forward to welcoming you and contributing to a positive academic experience at Mount Mercy.
