The Division of Academic Affairs is responsible for bringing the mission of Mount Mercy to life through a curriculum rich in high-interest majors, programs and learning experiences. We work to attract and retain the best faculty and to assist them in offering an outstanding education for Mount Mercy students.
Faculty members across the university are part of Academic Affairs. Together we collaborate to create outstanding, student-oriented educational programs that emphasize growth in reflective judgment, strategic communication, purposeful living, and serving the common good.
In addition, the Academic Affairs staff includes talented individuals working actively with students in such areas as:
- Advising and registration
- Academic support
- Career services
- Library resources and instructional technology
- Honors programming
- Adult accelerated and special programs
- Graduate programs
Since the scope of our work is so broad, students as well as faculty often have opportunities to visit our office for information or advice. We look forward to welcoming you and contributing to a positive academic experience at Mount Mercy.
Our offices are located in Warde Hall, room 214. If you have any questions, please contact us by email or call 319-368-6482.
